It is with immense pleasure and a touch of sadness that we have to put up a post for Maria Rosa (Rosa) as a nanny. Rosa has been an integral part of our family for nearly 13 years, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had her in our lives. Rosa is a truly exceptional individual – reliable, loving, and incredibly caring. She began working with us when our daughter was just over a month old, and her impact has been immeasurable. Rosa is bilingual in Spanish and English, and thanks to her, our daughter has learned Spanish. Throughout her time with us, Rosa has consistently demonstrated her dedication and warmth. She loves our daughter as if she were her own child, and this genuine affection has created a beautiful bond between them. As a first-time mom, I found Rosa to be an invaluable source of support and guidance. She was instrumental in helping us potty train our daughter and navigated many of those early childhood milestones with grace and expertise. Rosa is not only wonderful with children but also a fantastic household helper. She consistently prepared healthy and delicious meals for our daughter and was always willing to lend a hand with additional chores when needed, which was a tremendous help. She actively engaged our daughter in various activities, taking her to the library, arranging playdates, and transporting her to classes, all of which contributed significantly to her development and happiness. The only reason Rosa is seeking a new position is that our daughter is now in middle school, and sadly, our full-time nanny needs have changed. It is a bittersweet transition for our family, as Rosa has become so much more than just a nanny to us. We cannot recommend Rosa highly enough. Our wonderful nanny, Cheryl, is looking for a part-time position. She has 20+ years of experience and excellent references. Cheryl currently works with our family three days a week and is available on Wednesdays, Fridays, as well as for date nights or weekend help. She will also be available this summer while we’re away. Cheryl is a deeply attentive and engaging caregiver who truly connects with children. She’s playful, talkative, and always finds opportunities to teach and nurture. Unlike many, she’s never on her phone — her full focus is always on the kids. Cheryl has been with our family for three years, caring for our three children (now ages 1 to 6), and we couldn’t be happier. Under her care, we’ve watched them thrive, learn, and grow in so many ways. She’s always eager to take them outside, prepares delicious meals, and leaves our home spotless.
