I am thrilled to highly recommend Barbara as a nanny and childcare provider. Barbara worked with my family during the height of COVID, caring for my four children of very different ages, and she was nothing short of amazing.
At the time, I had a one-month-old infant, a Pre-K child, a 3rd grader, and an 8th grader. Barbara provided full-time care for my newborn, handling feedings, diapering, naps, soothing, and daily routines with patience and confidence. With my school-aged children, she assisted with remote learning and homeschooling, helping my Pre-K child and 3rd grader stay engaged, focused, and on schedule, while appropriately supervising and supporting my 8th grader’s independence and responsibilities.
Thanks in large part to Barbara’s consistency, encouragement, and hands-on support during homeschooling, both my kindergartener and 3rd grader earned A Honor Roll during that period. She has a wonderful ability to balance structure with warmth, helping children stay motivated while still enjoying the learning process.
Barbara is incredibly engaging and attentive. She knows how to meet children where they are developmentally—whether that means reading books, doing age-appropriate learning activities, helping with homework, encouraging creative play, or simply listening and providing emotional support. She also helped prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks, maintained routines, and ensured a safe, nurturing environment for all of my children.
She worked with our family for one full year, and the only reason our time together ended was because we relocated to San Antonio, TX, while Barbara returned to NYC. Most recently, Barbara returned in August 2025 to help with after-school care, and she continues to demonstrate the same level of reliability, care, and dedication.
Barbara is the kind of nanny every parent hopes to find—capable, organized, calm under pressure, and genuinely loving with children. She comes highly recommended, and I would confidently recommend her to any family seeking exceptional childcare.

Beti, came into our lives when my son was 18 months old. She was with us when our daughter was born two years later. She worked with until our children were 13 and 11 years old. As a full time mother, working as a senior manager where at time we travel, Beti, took great care of the kids. Loving and nuturing them. She never watched TV with instead she played games, and most fondly Candy Land (We still have have the game). She also took them on adventures to the park, zoos and museums. Our kids are in their late 20s and love her dearly and still keep in touch with them. Since for working from us she has worked with three family – long term.
We highly recommend her.
Where to start? Janet is extremely devoted caring and very devoted. Janet has been part of our family for the last 18 and half years. She joined when I had a newborn bay boy a 5 year old boy and a 7 year old boy, they weren’t the easiest. Then came 2 girls the baby is now 9. Janet always showed up, she never just didn’t come to work even in extreme weather. She always discussed and scheduling she needed to make sure it works for me. I moved the family to New Jersey from Brooklyn 7 years ago and Janet then came for 3 days as a live in and I had someone else for the other days. At this point my kids outgrew a live in and only I can have her the regular day hours but commuting daily to new jersey is just not an option. I only have the best and nicest things to say about her. We know we were very lucky to have such an amazing nanny/housekeeper for so many years. She is a great cook and she is very well trained in a kosher kitchen. Hope she finds an amazing family.
Cheryl has over 20 years of experience and worked with my family from 2017 to 2021, first as a baby nurse for my newborn twins and later as our nanny. She was amazing with the kids and helped out with light housekeeping.
She was warm, patient, and truly loved my children. She took them to activities, kept them engaged, and treated them like her own. If you actually want someone to love your children, Cheryl is the way to go.
Laurely has babysat for us for the past 4 years, filled in for our nanny while she has been on holiday and worked weekends when we needed the support. Laurely is very reliable, always on time, has a great attitude and really loves children. She is willing to lend a hand where needed, be it in the kitchen or with the house hold laundry. She is great with all ages and having raised 3 boys alone she does not get flustered and takes everything in her stride.
My nanny is truly wonderful, loving, patient, and deeply caring. She has a gentle nature and a warm heart, and she always goes above and beyond to make everyone feel safe, happy, and supported. Her dedication, kindness and positive spirit make a meaningful difference every day, and we are incredibly grateful for her.
Hello/ Salam parents ,
a nanny we worked with for over years and whom we and our son adore is available for babysitting jobs. We can’t recommend her enough, she started watching my son when he was 26 days old and he (and we) considered her as another family member. He still talks about her daily and it’s been several months since she was his caretaker.
She is based in Queens New York but willing to travel, is available starting in late march and open to live in and live out
She speaks fluent English and hindi also Urdu and Bengali . She is extremely caring, compassionate and very proactive with kids. She used to take my son to activities everyday, help with meals and do some light housework when needed.
Please feel free to DM me for her contact info or any questions you might have.
We are heartbroken to be saying goodbye to our amazing nanny, Eyon, who has been a true blessing to our family. She’s been with us caring for our two children (ages and 10), and we can’t say enough good things about her. Eyon is loving, patient, and incredibly responsible. She has a wonderful way with children our kids absolutely adore her and she’s been such positive calm, and dependable presence in our home. She’s punctual, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond to make sure the kids are happy, safe, and engaged.
We’re only parting ways because of a change in our work situation – not because of anything she’s done.
Any family would be lucky to have her. She’s available to start as soon as needed, and we’re happy to speak direct with any interested families to share more about our experience working, her. If you’re looking for a kind, capable and caring nanny, Eyon is truly exceptional.

Jewell is an experienced nanny who took care of our children for a total of five years, until they were both in school full-time. Since both parents worked long hours away from home, it was important for us to have someone who was reliable and dedicated to the children. She almost never missed a day and always found things for the children to do in the neighborhood, often discovering things we never knew of. She made meals for the children, did laundry, ordered the food they needed and arranged playdates, easily making friends with other nannies in the neighborhood and through school. Jewell is energetic and loves being outside and taking the children for long walks. She is also a great cook and made meals for the family when we had our second child and had limited time. When my eldest was in school, Jewell was comfortable taking the train or bus with the baby to pick him up and bring them both home from school. She also would occasionally bring them to appointments when we were unavailable. It was a seamless experience. We moved to New Jersey during the pandemic and this was a difficult commute.
We’re very sad to be wrapping up our time with Rhonda, who has been with our family since our now 2-year-old was 4 months old. She’s also cared for our baby son since birth. Rhonda is loving, consistent, and playful, with nearly 20 years of nannying experience—an ideal fit for a family with a newborn.
She’s incredibly reliable, intuitive with kids, and happy to pitch in for evening or weekend shifts. She keeps their spaces tidy, handles laundry, meals, and dishes, and brings joy to each day through reading, songs, and play.
Our kids adore her. Our daughter runs to greet her each morning shouting her name. We credit Rhonda with teaching her the ABCs, colors, and more. She prioritizes safety, and we trust her completely.
Rhonda is available in late July and prefers to work in Brooklyn. Please reach out if you’d like to connect.
Cleo has worked with my family for 24 years helping me raise 3 daughters and run my house. She is exceptional with children of all ages, incredibly intelligent and well read and just a pleasure to be around. Any family would be lucky to have her in their home.\’
Pema is an incredible asset to any family. She radiates warmth with a bright smile and calm demeanor that immediately resonated with our daughter. Pema is fun, imaginative, highly communicative and organized and she manages to balance soft kindness with firmness and structure. Pema and our daughter are always having fun together, constantly playing, giggling and truly enjoying one another\’s company. We were particularly impressed with Pema\’s proactivity in organizing our daughter\’s schedule, arranging play dates, trips to art galleries or museums, she has a finger on the pulse of new and interesting spaces for kids and is always befriending other nannies within our community and making new connections. Pema is an exceptional communicator, she sends daily picture updates of what they\’ve been up to. Our daughter arrives home each evening in a wonderful mood. Pema is also a safe and confident driver, which we found very helpful in taking the children to various activities, and school pick up. Pema is incredibly trustworthy and as a mother herself she\’s sensitive, loving and deeply adores children. Pema came highly recommended through friends of ours and has been a joy to work with for the past 12 months, sadly with Kindergarten beginning in the fall, we have to now say goodbye. Pema has been an undeniable asset to our family and we know she will be to yours. We feel strongly about helping her find another wonderful, loving family and are happy to chat anytime to answer any additional questions. She\’s looking for a full time role to commence immediately.
Liliana cared for our baby Noah who is now 16 months old for 7 months until he started daycare and she was absolutely exceptional. We didn\’t want him to start daycare when he was 5 months so Liliana was a big help for us during those months until her turned 1. She is so dependable, warm, and has such a calming presence, Noah adores her. She helped him progress with sitting and crawling. She spent a lot of time singing and reading to him. Even now once in a while when she has time she helps on a weekend or evening to take care of Noah and he loves loves loves her.
My husband and I would have loved to continue with Liliana but Noah had been admitted after waiting a year to a very selective daycare. Deferring admission would have moved us to back of the wait list.
While caring for him, Liliana prepared all his food, kept everything related to him clean and organized. She also helped with light tidying around the apartment. She mostly speaks Spanish but understands some English. I don\’t speak Spanish but I was able to communicate with her using basic English and when that was not enough using one of the many instant translation apps there are. My husband speaks Spanish but he was always at work so I interacted with her 95% of the time with no issues. I even got to learn some Spanish which was a big plus for me.
We were so grateful to find her when we were desperate for a nanny and she was able to find another family after Noah for a few months but now that baby is also starting daycare so she is looking for another family. We recommended her to them and they are absolutely happy but also sad that their baby has to start daycare and can\’t be cared by Liliana anymore. I know that family would be more than happy to provide a second amazing recommendation of Liliana also.

We are privileged to have had Johanna as our nanny and a member of our family for over 12 years. During this time, Johanna helped us raise our three kids (17-year-old twin son and daughter (since they were 5) and our 12-year-old daughter from birth). She was equally skilled in the infant, toddler, preschool, kid and teen stages and has forged independent relationships with each of our children that have been critical to their development and well-being.
Johanna has been responsible for all aspects of childcare including cooking healthy and family-friendly meals, bathing, nap schedules, school drop-offs, homework and doctors’ appointments. She shuttled our three kids (and their friends) all over the five boroughs and for various activities. Johanna has worn many hats over the years to make our lives easier — from meal planning to homework helper to laundry to neighborhood errands. She is also a master Lego builder, board game player, motivator, sports game referee, baker, hair and clothing stylist, closet organizer and shopper.
While we have always partnered to set reasonable and consistent routines and expectations for our kids, Johanna has always implemented our plans respectfully. She has impeccable instincts and judgment and can be firm when needed but also knows just when a spontaneous ice cream outing is called for. She also often communicated with our children’s teachers on our behalf and is the best class trip chaperone!
Johanna is incredibly responsible, trustworthy and hard-working while also being fun and caring. She is a very warm person and is easy to be with. She traveled with our family many times, lived with us during the summers and bonded with our children’s grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also super friendly and outgoing. She organized individual and group playdates and made sure our kids had a good mix of socialization and downtime. Our children’s friends (and their parents) were always happy to see Johanna at pick up and were thrilled to have Johanna supervising playdates at our home or at the playground.
During the time that Johanna has worked with us, I have been a stay-at-home mom, a mom that worked part-time from home and a mom that worked out of the home and Johanna has been able to navigate each of these situations comfortably. When I am home, we divide and conquer childcare and household needs and when I am at work or traveling, I have tremendous confidence that Johanna has everything under control and most importantly that my children are safe, well-cared for and loved. Whether we were making baby food together, packing the kids for a vacation or sleepaway camp, organizing after-school schedules or comforting a child after a tough day at school, we are truly a team.
Johanna is a gem, and any family would be beyond lucky to have her care for their children. I simply cannot say enough in a few paragraphs about Johanna and what she has meant (and continues to mean) to our entire family. Please contact me at any time for additional information.
I am pleased to write this letter in strong support of Dianne Gopee for a nanny position. What began as a chance encounter at a playground grew into our most valued working relationship for our family. Starting out with our two young children, Dianne had to multitask and manage difficult situations ranging from child sickness to varying school schedules, all which she handled with skill and grace.
As our children got older, Dianne’s role evolved and developed into what could be described as a House Manager. The kids’ schedules became more complicated with sports, school and tutoring and Dianne took on more responsibility with food shopping, cooking and cleaning and continued to demonstrate immense reliability and strong work ethic.
I have witnessed firsthand Dianne’s dedication and professionalism. Others have too, frequently other families would approach her to work for them and lamented the fact that they could not find someone who measured up to Dianne’s caring, kindness and enthusiasm.
Dianne has consistently demonstrated quick problem-solving and attention to detail. Regardless of the situation her thoughtfulness and personable nature puts everyone around her at ease. I have no doubt that Dianne will contribute greatly to any family, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need anything further.
I am so happy to recommend our weekend/part-time nanny, who cares for our 20-month-old son. She has been truly a gift to our family.
Our son struggles with separation anxiety, which makes it difficult to find someone he feels safe and comfortable with. From the very beginning, Twyla approached the situation with patience, empathy, and deep understanding. She took the time to build trust with him at his pace—offering gentle reassurance, consistent routines, and a calm, nurturing presence that helped him feel secure and cared for in our absence.
She has a natural way with young children, blending playfulness with attentiveness, always ensuring our son’s emotional and physical needs are met. Whether she’s reading with him, engaging him in sensory play, or simply sitting with him quietly during a tough moment, she brings warmth and intentionality to every interaction. We are so lucky to have her as a respite in our busy schedule.
On top of her outstanding care, Twyla is reliable, on-time, and professional, and communicative.
She is looking for a full-time position and I wholeheartedly recommend her.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Paulette is an experienced, loving and hard working nanny with over 30 years of experience caring for children on the Upper West Side. She joined our family as a nanny for our newborn son and stayed with us for 10 years. She is now looking for an after school, part time gig.
Paulette is flexible and adapts to the family and the child. My kid was very hard to put down as a baby. She held him through many naps and still tidied up my kitchen so that I could cook dinner right after work. Extremely hard working, Paulette is always tidying up things, often without having been asked.
She is quite social and has brought many nanny and children friends into our lives. She is familiar with toddler, preschool and elementary school activities on the Upper West Side and is always looking for fun outings to do.
